You can now book your summer holiday in Friesland: discover the most beautiful & relaxed province of the Netherlands and stay a week in the Mauritiuskerk in #Jirnsum in the heart of Friesland. Our church studios have a lovely box spring to dream away, a private kitchen & picnic table in the church garden on the south.

The studio, self-catering facilities & picnic table in the church garden can now be booked for 799 euros per week* for two people. Studio De Kraak (where the 16th century organ used to be) has a separate living room in our church library. If necessary, a separate children's bedroom can be made in the church tower for children in the summer.

Early bookers will receive a free bottle of Frisian bubbles upon arrival until April 1st (no joke)!

There is plenty to do in the area: walking, cycling, swimming, boating, visiting the IJSboerderij or the Kameleondorp, paddle boarding, playgrounds, picturesque villages, large cities such as Leeuwarden and Heerenveen, water cities such as Harlingen and Sneek, cafes, restaurants, the National Nature Park De Alde Feanen, eel fishing, Wadden Sea, mudflat hiking, beaches on lakes, rivers and sea & delicious food - from local Frisian to Greek and fresh sushi, from the famous Frisian dry sausages to bio-sustainable & vegetarian from local gardens,

Jirnsum is located between Leeuwarden (14km), Heerenveen (19 km) and Sneek (14km). This old Frisian village from the 7th century has among others sloop and boat rental, Grand-Cafe-Restaurant De 2 Gemeenten, cafe-pub De Fantast, Frits KoopCentrum, two snack bars, walking routes, various marinas, tennis courts, beaches, playgrounds and much more.

• Our B&B Studioos have their own kitchen including cooking utensils, crockery, Nespresso machine, etc.

• Weekly price includes a free church tower tour

• Weekly price excluding tourist tax (2 euros pppn)

• Free Wi-Fi

• Free: you can get extra towels during a week's stay

• Free use of washing machine and dryer

• Free coffee via our Nespresso coffee machine; free tea

• Bonnie's Breakfast is not included in the price, but you can of course order it additionally.

• During a week's stay the studio will not be cleaned; you can have it cleaned after 3-4 days for an additional 25 euros.
