Now also a tennis court for tourists in Jirnsum

Mauritiuskerk B&B Studio's has started a collaboration with tennis club Eernum in Jirnsum. Guests of our church can rent the tennis court for € 10 per hour.

The tennis courts are practically next to the Mauritius Church, a five-minute walk away. The two courts are made of artificial grass.

You must bring your own rackets and tennis balls. When booking a church studio, guests can indicate when they want to play a game of tennis.

On Wednesday afternoon and evening there are always tennis lessons from the club, then it is not possible to rent the tennis courts. During the summer holidays it is possible to play on Wednesdays.

TV Eernum was founded in 1980. The name refers to the old name of Jirnsum; the village was founded in the 7th or 8th century and is one of Friesland's oldest villages. The famous Frisian flag was invented in Jirnum.
