The 'sermon' of this February 2025 Sunday is entitled De Kapitein, a well-known song by Acda and De Munnik. About a love relationship where everything is fine, despite all the problems surrounding the couple.

There are privateers on the starboard side, #dear

And on the port side sharks are swimming

But I'll keep the helm steady tonight

The night rolls around me like a sea

And I know exactly where we're going

Cause I'm the #captain

This house is my cabin

And the ship can only move forward

The sea, the night lies smoothly and without any problems before me

And expectations are finally right

Tonight for once #no rain

No storm tonight for once

Finally a #night

Finally a night as it should be

But on the starboard side lie privateers, dear

And on the port side sharks are swimming

And I whisper sweet words

And I kiss your tears away

I'll tell you about love

Trust me when I say

That everything is #good

Sleep tight, because I'm the captain

And whoever is the captain, keeps watch

We're not going down yet

They didn't just give us

We will not perish yet

Not really gone yet #tonight

And I know they're lurking, but I still can't see them

So why should I worry about that?

The bottom is still intact and the sails are still working

Who or what could possibly #touch us?
